Galena City Beautiful Foundation is dedicated to restoration and preservation and the rich cultural heritage, architecture, and history of the City of Galena.

The organization is the city’s leading voice for historic preservation that inspires people to save historic places that matter.

As an advocacy organization, Galena City Beautiful has established a variety of hands-on, public programs to facilitate, promote, and educate people about historic preservation inspiring civic pride and civic responsibility.

The organization is involved in rehabilitation projects, publicity, educational programs, advocacy, and community leadership.

​

Pulling together skilled professionals, preservation experts and enthusiasts, as well as many needed volunteers, Galena City Beautiful has become an outspoken voice for the responsible care and custody of the city and its rich heritage.
